fist year in the PL we had wimbledon away around xmas time, filled the entire (whitehorse road/lane?) away end. Lee Chapman scored twice, me and my mates were right at the top of that terrace. i turned around to celebrate with them - looked back down and there was about 10 feet of space in front of me where everyone had surged forwards. good times.

Everton in cup 89/90 I think, 2-1 - slater goal
Brady’s excellent goal against wolves in his last game, when everyone was already starting to get on the pitch. meant nothing but was still great for him and us.

still fucks my nut that so many that follow us now have never stood on a terrace.,,or had the joy of the chicken run..as was..or south bank corner cage
the north bank was considered scarfer territory..but would now be considered a den of devil dogs

terraces..yes indeed
you would enter and had your plot ..but unwritten rules applied..certain bods had plots..
anyhow..the plot you started in would never be the plot you ended up in by the final whistle..

Going 2-1 up against Man U in the Paul Ince return game ,
I think it was Trevor Morley scoring a minute after Lee Chapman equalised.
It was Pandemonium! The good old days of standing!!

Can't remember the TV match, but, as a kid, I smashed the living-room light-fitting by jumping up, punching the air, and accidentally overreaching.

Carroll's third against Arsenal. Not often we turn a two goal deficit around, especially against a top side. Coupled with the fact it was my last match at Upton Park and swing a cult figure blag a hat trick or all for a bit much!

Leroy at Highbury in the cup ‘89 , first time I’d not been in their NB , wild scenes of joy . Ince at Villa when he ran from our penalty area at the Holt up to where we were massed behind the other goal . On da telly Payets free kick v palarse , half sprained my back that time .
